“ I've been coming here for over 35 years. My dad was friends with the founder. His daughter and I both attended the same high school, and it's been a go to since forever. Crispy dogs are a must-have! If you're a beer drinker, an ice-cold schooner is the buzz. Whether you order chicken fried steak, hamburger steak, the Pollock, or Mexican food, you can't go wrong. The mashed potatoes are so delicious and green beans, too. Parking is plentiful across the street, too. Expect a wait, especially after 5. It used to be a lounge, with its richly papered walls, and they still have a bar area with seating. It's very nostalgic for me. Must visit at some point if you are in SA. ”

The main entree was the friend chicken. I feel they have the best fried chicken in town. You just have to allow plenty of time for them to cook it fresh!!
